Freja Eriksen
Freja has always loved to sing and when she was 13 years old she played one of the lost boys in the musical Peter Pan on Århus. She was trilled.
She loved being at the theatre and she was so exited everyday when she learned new things about how to act different emotions.
This was the turning point of her life regarding performing. From this point she has been feeling a gigantic feeling inside and a tremendous drive leading her towards a picture that she has been imagining. A big stage with a lot of audients, she is standing on the stage, singing her spirit out and just passing on everything that life is letting her pass on to the audients.
Behind her is a big screen showing the symbolism and the story of the music. And the audients is walking out from the event being filled up with a feeling of purpose and a true solid sense of who they are and how they are connected to the rest of things that exist. Till she was 17 she was having leading roles in a lot of musicals, and managed in her second year of high school to play Wendy in the professional musical “Peter Pan” on Århus Theatre, while still taking care of here school.
To months before she finished High School she suddenly knew that she should study medicine. Both her parents have always been interested in the body, how it works and how to take the best care
of it. And that has nourished Freja’s interest. She began at med. school the winter 2006. She feels very blessed to have the opportunity to learn so mush about the human nature. She wants to finish med. school, but is also aware of the fact that she will most likely at some point take a brake from the school to be able to focus even more on her music.
Freja has been writing songs since she was about 13 years old, and in the winter 2008 her first single “Out of my hands” is released. It contains 3 songs, all music and lyrics written by her self. Her hope is that people will listen to the music and get moved and inspired by it.
